Police looking for man who allegedly assaulted ETS bus driver

Edmonton police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted an Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) bus driver Saturday morning.

EPS says officers responded to a report of an assault on a bus around 7:40 a.m. near 117 Street and Jasper Avenue.

Police say only the driver of the bus was injured during the incident, and they were taken to a hospital by paramedics.

Through their investigation, police also learned that the man in question was responsible for damage at a library near 102 Avenue and 99 Street around 6:10 a.m.

The man has been described as 38 to 45-years-old, roughly 6’0″ with short brown hair and a muscular build.

At the time, he was wearing glasses, a blue sweater, grey sweatpants, rubber boots and was carrying a green shopping bag.
