A serious collision led to Highway 19 closing down in both directions between range roads 254 and 255, Friday morning.

According to EPS, at 5:15 a.m., a 24-year-old female driver in a Volkswagen Tiguan travelling westbound on Highway 19 crossed the center line and struck the driver’s side of another vehicle—a Chevrolet that was being driven by a 30-year-old female just west of range road 254.

The Chevrolet went into the ditch and rolled, sustaining catastrophic damage, EPS said.

As per EPS speed is not considered a factor and the Major Collision Investigation Section investigated the collision.
