Woman in hospital after collision in Mill Woods: Edmonton police

Edmonton police say a woman is in hospital following a collision Friday morning in Mill Woods.
EPS responded to Millwoods Road and 23 Avenue around 11 a.m., after receiving a report of a serious collision.
According to police, it is believed that a Subaru Cross Trek was turning left from 23 Avenue when it was hit by a Jeep Cherokee.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Subaru was sent into a light standard.
Paramedics attended the scene and took a woman who was driving the Subaru to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was assessed at the scene and was released.
The intersection of Millwoods Road and 23 Avenue has since been re-opened.
