Police are trying to identify a woman who allegedly robbed at gunpoint a clothing store at the Capilano Mall in southeast Edmonton Saturday evening.

The Edmonton Police Service alleges the woman entered the store around 8 p.m., selected some items and placed them into a shopping basket.

“Prior to leaving the store, the female suspect was approached by staff, at which time she pulled out a firearm and threatened to shoot them,” EPS says in a news release.

The woman then allegedly left the store with the stolen items at 8:20 p.m. Police say she was driven away by a man in a 1996-2000 red Honda Civic Coupe.
