Edmonton police say they are looking for a vehicle believed to be connected to a shooting earlier this week.
EPS says officers and paramedics responded to a report of gunfire on Anthony Henday Drive, between 66 Street and 97 Street, around 8:40 p.m. on Feb. 10.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from injuries. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“At this time, police don’t believe the shooting was random and are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the suspect vehicle,” said EPS in a statement.
Police have described the vehicle as a light-coloured, four-door sedan.
“As we continue to investigate this shooting, we are asking motorists for dashcam footage that was taken between 8:20 and 8:40 p.m. on Anthony Henday Drive, between 66 Street and 97 Street,” says Det. Robert Hancock with the EPS’ Investigative Response Team. “Additionally, if you observed or recognize this vehicle or have any information that will assist our investigation, please contact us immediately.”
