The Edmonton Police Service says a Sprinter- or Amazon-style cargo van drove up to a 12-year-old boy, who was walking home on 38 Avenue near 55 Street, around 7:20 p.m.

“The van was reportedly occupied by two females, one of whom got out of the van and told the youth to get in. The youth fled home, and the incident was reported to police,” EPS said in a news release.

The van is described as black or dark grey. The suspect who allegedly spoke to the boy was about 30 years old, with a medium build, shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a black dress.
