Man in hospital following pedestrian collision on Jasper Avenue

Edmonton police say one person is in hospital following a collision along Jasper Avenue near 122 Street.
EPS says around 10:46 a.m., officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
It was reported that a man was crossing Jasper Avenue in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a 2016 Maza CX5.
Paramedics responded to the scene, and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
EPS also notes that Jasper Avenue between 121 Street and 123 Street was closed during the initial stages of the investigation, however, the road as since been reopened.
