Man, 35, fatally struck by train in southeast Edmonton

Police say a 35-year-old pedestrian is dead after he was struck by a CN Rail train in southeast Edmonton on Monday evening.

The Edmonton Police Service says it’s investigating the collision near 34 Avenue just west of Railway Street.

Officers with the EPS major collision investigations section and CN police responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m.

No charges have been laid.
