EPS issue public notice regarding release of ‘convicted violent sexual offender’

Edmonton police are issuing a public safety notice concerning the release of a “convicted violent sexual offender.”
EPS says Ryan White was recently released from prison and will be living in Edmonton.
He is subject to court-ordered conditions, however, police believe he is likely to commit another violent offence against someone in the city.
White was previously convicted for incidents that resulted in physical harm to his victims.
“He has physically and sexually victimized female adults, particularly vulnerable females, including sex workers. White has also physically assaulted a female toddler and an older female adult,” said Edmonton police in a statement.
White has been described as a 42-year-old man, roughly six-foot-four, weighing 225 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair.
