Edmonton’s Muttart Conservatory was closed Tuesday due to flooding caused by a cracked water line in the tropical pyramid.
The iconic botanical garden was flooded in its centre court and some staff areas, Muttart Conservatory spokesperson Debi Winwood told CityNews.
“There has been no impact on any of the plants or exhibits,” she said.
Crews worked to get the facility cleaned and open for the public.
“But the timeline (for reopening) isn’t known yet,” Winwood added.
