‘Suspicious’ death at west Edmonton apartment building after weapons complaint

      A man and a woman died hours apart Wednesday morning. As Adam Ziccarelli reports, both events are under investigation by Edmonton's homicide section.

      Police say a woman’s death at an apartment building in west Edmonton Wednesday morning is considered suspicious.

      The Edmonton Police Service says officers responded to the report of a weapons complaint at the building on 156 Street and 100 Avenue around 5 a.m.

      Officers arrived to find a woman with serious, life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

      An autopsy has not yet been scheduled.

      The EPS homicide section is investigating.
