Youth wearing sheep onesie vandalizes vehicles in Mill Woods: EPS

By News Staff

Police are looking for two youth suspects who allegedly spray-painted more than a dozen vehicles and other property in southeast Edmonton early Sunday morning.

The Edmonton Police Service says it received a report around 3 a.m. of two youths vandalizing vehicles at Knottwood Road West and 16 Avenue – near Satoo Park in the Menisa neighbourhood.

Officers say they arrived to find damaged vehicles, fences, signs and other property. Police suspect there may be more vandalism in the neighbourhood.

One of the suspects was described as wearing a sheep onesie. They have not been located.

EPS is hoping the public can provide tips or video of suspicious activity between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m.

“We believe there may be additional complainants in the community that we have not yet been able to connect with and we are encouraging them to reach out to us,” said Sgt. Jon Croft with EPS southeast branch patrol.

“The EPS does not take vandalism lightly and recording and reporting property damage will be incredibly helpful to our investigation.”
