Woman killed in Mill Woods shopping centre parking lot: police

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) says one person was killed today after a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a parking lot near 64 Street and 28 Avenue.
Around 3:10 p.m., officers responded to a report that a woman was hit in the parking lot.
“It was reported to police that a GM Hummer H3 truck being driven by a female collided with a female pedestrian, who had tripped and fallen to the ground while walking in the parking lot. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the woman deceased on scene,” said Edmonton police in a statement.
EPS say no charges have been laid at this time.
