Apartment fire damage estimated at $1 million

Damage from a downtown apartment fire has been pegged at $1 million.
Fire crews were called out to 92 Street and 111 Avenue on the morning of March 6.
Crews were forced to use ground ladders to rescue some residents from their balconies.
In total, 26 people were displaced and three people were transported to hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
