Calgary manslaughter suspect arrested in Edmonton

The suspect in the manslaughter of Keenan Crane was arrested in Edmonton on Wednesday, according to the Calgary Police Service (CPS).

CPS says the arrest came just a few hours after police released a photo of 32-year-old Jason Tait to the public asking for help to find him.

When issuing the request for help, they said they believed he may be in the Edmonton area and staying at local shelters or with friends.

Police say 22-year-old Crane was last seen  April 11, 2022, at around 10 p.m. His family reported him missing on April 25.

His remains were found by police near the town of Morley on May 15.

In December, Crane’s family pleaded with the public for information about his death.
