Repairs to Valley Line Southeast LRT 94% complete: TransEd
The company responsible for the Valley Line Southeast LRT says repair work is almost done.
TransEd says repairs to fix cracks on the piers holding the tracks on the elevated guideways are 94 per cent complete.
The planned summer opening of the Valley Line Southeast LRT was postponed when TransEd found cracks in 18 of the 44 concrete piers.

The 13-kilometre-long line connecting Mill Woods to Edmonton’s downtown began construction in 2016 and was supposed to be completed in 2020.
The opening of the line was postponed multiple times due to the pandemic and complications along the way.
