Man charged in connection with November triple stabbing on Gateway Blvd.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a triple stabbing in Edmonton in November.

Edmonton police say an altercation took place on Nov. 28, 2021 around 2 a.m. in the area of 81 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard.

Police say a group of complainants got into a verbal altercation inside an establishment, and the altercation eventually moved outside.

That’s when police allege the accused stabbed three people before leaving the scene.

The 24-year-old is facing three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of obstructing justice and possession of a weapon for dangerous a purpose. He was arrested on Sunday.

Police say the three people who were stabbed were hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
