CALGARY – One of Canada’s most legendary athletes has just reached a major achievement.
Six-time Olympian, four-time Olympic gold medalist, and world champion hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser is now a medical doctor.
She announced her certification on Twitter over the weekend, where she said, “What a journey, and in a pandemic to boot.”
