Albertans takeout cravings very particular according to recent study

TORONTO (660 NEWS) — Since most of the world has been shut down for months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of us have been ordering in food during quarantine.

According to a new study by Uber Eats, Albertans seem to be the pickiest as we are most likely to add special instructions to our orders, while people in Nova Scotia are apparently super laid back and hardly ever add special instructions.

People from Manitoba and Quebec are the most polite, according to the study, saying please and thank you the most when they order.

But overall, Uber Eats says Canadians are more polite when it comes to ordering, especially compared to our southern neighbours.

There have been some interesting quarantine cravings including ketchup on your pizza, and most Calgarians and Edmontonions prefer no onions on their slice.

Extra sauce, cheese and onion–but hold the lettuce–increased the most across the country.

While requests for gluten-free, sauce on the side and dressing on the side have decreased during the pandemic.

But most people like to turn up the heat on Sundays as this is the day when most people request spicy or extra spicy.
