One new death, 18 additional COVID-19 cases in Alberta

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – One more Albertan has died and 18 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the province Saturday.

In total 135 people have died as a result of COVID-19, while 5,869 have recovered.

There are 814 active cases currently in the province and of those 641 are in the Calgary Zone, 93 are in the South Zone, 55 are in the Edmonton area and 16 are in the North Zone.

48 people are in hospital with 6 of them in the intensive care unit.

3,981 tests have been conducted since Friday. 212,724 Albertans have undergone testing.
