Kenney issues statement following plane crash

Edmonton – Jason Kenney released a statement in the wake of the Ukrainian International Airlines crash near Tehran. The Crash killed 176 passengers including 63 Canadians.
Kenney stated “I am deeply saddened by the devastating news that 63 Canadians, including a large number of Albertans, were amongst the 176 passengers aboard Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752 when it crashed earlier today near Tehran.” the premier added “On behalf of the Government of Alberta, I extend my deepest sympathies to the loved ones of all the passengers.”
Justin Trudeau also released a statement earlier showing support for all those affected by the crash. Reports say a large number of those in the crash were from Alberta.
Kenney also issued multiple tweets following the crash.
