Investigation continues into inhumane coyote death

GRAND PRAIRIE – An Alberta government spokesman said people have been identified in a video that apparently shows a coyote being beaten and killed by snowmobilers but it’s too early to speculate on possible charges.

RCMP in Grande Prairie said they received a complaint about the video that was posted on social media.

Cpl. Maria Ogden said the video depicts an inhumane death of a wild animal.

Alberta Fish and Wildlife officers are helping with the investigation.
