Sean has been a journalist for 20 years. He mostly covers politics in Alberta. He joined the CityNews Edmonton team in 2024. A NAIT graduate, he‘s also worked as a reporter in Medicine Hat and Dawson Creek and travelled Canada reporting Indigenous-focused stories for APTN. Sean has won several awards for his breaking news coverage, scooping important details of the Slave Lake wildfire in 2011, the Fort McMurray wildfire in 2016, the Edmonton terror attack in 2017 and the Jasper wildfire in 2024.
