One person in custody after a man dies following disturbance in northeast Edmonton

Edmonton police say they are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in northeast Edmonton.
Around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, officers were responding to an unrelated matter near 118 Avenue and 47 Street when they were alerted to a disturbance
Following this, police found a man who was seriously injured coming from a home, being followed by another individual.
Life-saving measures were provided by police and EMS before the man was taken to hospital, where he later died. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday, June 12.
Police did take the other individual into custody.
It is believed that the deceased and the other individual were known to each other prior to the incident. EPS note that at this time they are not looking for additional suspects.
