Edmonton police find man dead in home in Oxford neighbourhood

Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead in a home Sunday afternoon.

EPS conducted a welfare check at a residence near 157 Avenue and 130 A Street around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, and when they arrived, they found a man dead.

It is believed the man had died from suspicious circumstances, and the homicide unit has taken over the investigation.

EPS says an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Police are asking if anyone has any information, to contact investigators at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
