Data shows 90% Edmonton transit peace officer trespass tickets to people without home address

Ninety per cent of trespass tickets handed out by transit peace officers in Edmonton in 2024 were given to people with no fixed address, city data shows. Lawyer Chris Wiebe fears the ticketing disproportionately targets homeless people.
