Alberta man arrested after string of interprovincial Tim Horton’s break-ins

A man is facing almost 40 charges after a string of Tim Horton’s restaurants were broken into across Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan over the past five months.
RCMP began investigating after getting reports of break and enters at 12 Tim Horton’s in Alberta and five in Saskatchewan between June and October of this year.
Mounties say the restaurants in Alberta were in Brooks, High River, Hanna, Vermilion, Rocky Mountain House, Rocky View County, Strathmore, Drayton Valley, Didsbury, Stettler and two in Wetaskiwin. The five restaurants in Saskatchewan were in Maple Creek, Kindersley, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Indian Head.
The RCMP identified a suspect who was in White City, Sask., and on Oct. 31 arrested him shortly after he committed another alleged break and enter. He was arrested outside a hotel.
Mounties executed a search warrant to look through the suspect’s hotel room, vehicle and apartment in Medicine Hat. Police seized crash, tools and guns.
Police say 25-year-old Medicine Hat resident Joshua Elliot Moose is facing 31 charges in Alberta and 7 in Saskatchewan for break and enter to commit theft and possession of break-in tools.
He is set to appear in a Regina courtroom on Wednesday.
