Fire at north Edmonton strip mall convenience store under investigation

Firefighters were on the scene of a blaze at a north Edmonton strip mall on Monday night.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services crews needed some four hours to put out the fire at the convenience store at 90 Street and 132 Avenue.

Firefighters arrived at 9:41 p.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the building. The fire was under control by 11:23 p.m. and declared out by 1:50 a.m., EFRS tells CityNews.

There were no reported injuries.

The fire remains under investigation.
