RCMP looking for boats stolen west of Edmonton

RCMP in Parkland County are looking for those responsible for a pair of stolen boats over the weekend.

Around 6:15 a.m. on Aug. 18, Mounties responded to a report that boats had been stolen from a fenced business compound.

Police have described the first vehicle believed to be involved as a red Ford truck, either a Ford F-250 or F-350. The second vehicle believed to be involved has been described as a dark-coloured Dodge Ram, likely a 2500 or 3500, with a canopy on the box.

Descriptions of both boats that were stolen were also provided and are listed below.

  • A 2017 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV. (The Malibu)
    • Hull ID: US-MB2S3047B717
    • The trailer’s VIN is 59XBB2622HL005375
    • The engine is a Indmar Monsoon Raptor 6.2L 450 HO serial number 202797
    • This boat has a value of $149,800.00; and
  • A 2024 Axis Core Series A245. (The Axis)
    • Hull ID: US-AWRC4856I324
    • The trailer’s VIN is 59XBB2620RL005327
    • The engine is a Malibu Monsoon M6Di 6.2L with serial number B5733I324
    • This boat has a value of $236,650.00
