Parkland County homicide victim identified as teenager from Wetaskiwin

Police have identified the victim of an alleged homicide in Parkland County as a 19-year-old from Wetaskiwin.

Alberta RCMP say the remains of Eric George Moonias were found in a treed area south of Spruce Grove on May 14.

The RCMP major crimes unit is investigating his death as a homicide.

Police are asking anyone with information on Moonias’ whereabouts in the first two weeks of May to contact them at 825-220-7267 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
