Edmonton motorcyclist, 47, killed in highway crash: RCMP

An Edmonton resident was killed in a motorcycle accident on the highway just outside Sherwood Park Saturday evening, according to police.

Strathcona County RCMP say it happened around 6:20 p.m. on Highway 16 and Highway 21.

Witnesses told police the 47-year-old motorcyclist lost control of their bike and the vehicle flipped. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
