Edmonton police looking to identify 2 men linked to February assault

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is looking for help identifying two men believed to be linked to an assault in northwest Edmonton in February.

EPS says around 11:30 a.m., on Feb. 8, officers responded to an assault at a grocery store near Castledowns Road and 153 Avenue.

In the report, it also stated the two men had left the store without paying.

A bystander attempted to confront the two suspects when he was then assaulted.

At the time, the bystander suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Since the robbery and assault, investigators say they’ve not been able to identify the two suspects, but are now releasing a photo in an attempt to have them identified.
