Alberta Amber Alert cancelled after child found safe, suspect arrested

An Amber Alert issued across Alberta has been cancelled after a seven-year-old girl was found safe.

Valleyview RCMP initially announced the alert around 10:15 a.m. Monday saying a child was abducted from her home.

The alert was cancelled around 11:45 a.m. Police say the child was found safe and a suspect has been taken into custody.

No other details have been made available.
