Fire breaks out at vacant west Edmonton motel

Firefighters are investigating a blaze at a vacant west Edmonton motel late Monday night.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services tells CityNews crews arrived at the Royal Scot Motel and Storage Yard – on Stony Plain Road – shortly before 11 p.m.

The fire was brought under control at 11:36 p.m. and declared out at 12:48 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries.
