Fire damages under-construction home in south Edmonton

A fire broke out at an under-construction, multi-storey home in south Edmonton on Thursday.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services tells CityNews firefighters were called to the construction site on 108 Street and 85 Avenue at 11:50 a.m.

They arrived to find smoke coming from building, and a second-alarm fire was called.

The blaze was brought under control at 12:36 p.m.

There were no reported injuries.

Fire investigators were on the scene.
