Man found dead in greenspace in Edmonton’s Calder neighbourhood

Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death in the Calder neighbourhood.

EPS says officers responded to reports that shots were fired near 125 Street and 130 Avenue around 9:20 p.m. on March 16.

When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man dead in a nearby greenspace.

Police say the homicide unit has taken over the investigation, and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
