Edmonton police say two teens are in hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday.
EPS closed 122 Avenue in both directions between 95A Street and 97 Street around noon, due to a serious collision.
It is believed that two 16-year-old girls were crossing 122 Avenue at 96 Street when they were struck by an SUV being driven by a 62-year-old man.
Paramedics attended the scene and took both girls to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police note that the driver did remain on scene, and that an investigation is underway.
