Police in Alberta are looking to identify a man who allegedly recorded people while changing or using the bathroom.
Strathcona County RCMP say they received a report of voyeurism at a retail store in Sherwood Park on June 4, 2024.
A woman reported seeing a cell phone slide under the door of the changing room while she was changing.
“The quick-thinking female grabbed the cell phone and alerted staff,” police said in a news release.
The suspect fled prior to police arriving.

Mounties say they identified several other videos “depicting victims being discreetly recorded while changing or using the bathroom” during a lengthy police investigation. It’s not clear how many instances there were, or when they took place.
RCMP say work to identify the suspect included a partnership with the Canadian Border Service Agency. Now police are turning to the public for help.
Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to contact Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.
