EFRS fail to locate source of natural gas odour in south Edmonton

Some residents in south Edmonton have been smelling a natural gas odour Monday morning.

The Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) says it received multiple reports about the smell.

EFRS was working on locating the source, but says it was unable to do so.

Edmontonians are being asked to close their windows and doors “after confirming the odour is not originating from inside your home.

EFRS is asking residents to call 911 for immediate emergencies only.

“Please only call to report this odour if you have credible information of its origin,” it says.
