Charges pending against driver after truck gets stuck on Edmonton’s High Level Bridge

Charges are pending against the driver of a tractor-trailer truck whose vehicle got lodged on Edmonton’s High Level Bridge on Wednesday morning.

The Edmonton Police Service says it caused significant damage to the bridge.

“Truck height is a factor in this collision,” EPS said.

There were no injuries.

Police were called around 10:30 a.m. and officers closed the roadway while the truck was removed from the bridge.

Edmonton police are continuing to investigate.
