West Edmonton intersection reopens after closure

Police say a west Edmonton intersection has reopened after it was closed “for some time.”

The intersection of 113 Avenue and Winterburn Road was closed Monday morning.

A semi-trailer truck appeared to be involved in the closure in some way, though police did not provide any details.

A crane could be seen at the scene.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

The intersection was reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
