Post Malone, Jelly Roll coming to Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium in July

No strangers to filling up stadia across North America, two music giants are doing it again.

And this time they’re coming to Edmonton.

Post Malone and Jelly Roll are hitting the road together for their “Big Ass Stadium Tour 2,” with a stop at Commonwealth Stadium on July 24.

Joining them is American country music singer Carter Faith.

“We’re thrilled to host Post Malone at Commonwealth Stadium, the largest venue of its kind in Canada,” said Heather Seutter, the director of Commonwealth Stadium. “Live entertainment events like this draw people from across the capital region, the province and beyond.

“It demonstrates that Edmonton is a concert destination of choice for major artists and touring companies.”

Edmonton is one of two Canadian stops on the tour. Post Malone and Jelly Roll will also play Toronto on June 16.

All other dates are in the United States. The tour begins April 10 in Fort Lauderdale and ends July 25 in Salt Lake City.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Tuesday.

Jelly Roll was the opening act throughout much of Post Malone’s first “Big Ass Stadium Tour” last year. Toronto was the only Canadian date on that tour.

Post Malone last played Edmonton in 2016.

Jelly Roll just won best contemporary country album at the Grammy Awards.
