Man, 20, charged in Edmonton playground fire; warrant issued for second man

Edmonton police say a 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with a playground fire in July, and an arrest warrant has been issued for a second man.
EPS says around 8 a.m. on July 12, officers noticed smoke near 122 Avenue and 128 Street, and went to investigate the matter.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a fire at a playground next to St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School.
On August 10, police said they were looking for five persons of interest in connection with the fire, and on September 4, they confirmed that one of those five was taken into custody.
Rayden Bigstone, 20, has been charged with arson, causing damage to property. He is expected to appear in court on Oct. 20.
Additionally, a province-wide warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Darius Bigstone. He is wanted on a charge of arson, causing damage to property.
