Edmonton police are searching for a woman who disappeared more than two months ago.
Natanis Merasty, 24, from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, was seen leaving a west Edmonton hotel shortly after 2:30 a.m. on May 5, the day she went missing.

“By this time, she’d be calling home for family. Anything that was ever wrong with her, she came to us,” said Marcela Merasty, Natanis’ aunt.
A picture taken from a nearby 7-Eleven’s CCTV footage is the last confirmed sighting of Merasty.

EPS is working with multiple RCMP detachments as her black 2007 Hyundai Tucson was tracked across three provinces over two weeks.
Her SUV was seen travelling through B.C., taking a ferry to Vancouver Island two days after she disappeared.

It was later found abandoned and repainted silver in southeast Saskatchewan, 10 days after her last confirmed sighting.
“The longer time gaps and spans between our last point of communication with family or friends, with no contact, no sightings, no information, it becomes increasingly more suspicious and concerning,” said Det. Lisa Riou, with the Edmonton Police Service.
EPS says forensics teams continue analyzing the vehicle, while detectives investigate.

Merasty’s family is hoping someone who may have seen something will come forward and help bring her home.
“We have a lot of hope that she’s still alive, but we are hurt as a family, absolutely, obviously,” said Victor Michel, Natanis’ uncle.

Marcela adding, “I don’t understand why anyone would want to hurt Natanis. She wasn’t the type of person to try to hurt anyone.”
Investigators say they need help from the public, asking anyone from the three provinces with information about Merasty to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
