Tornado warning southwest of Edmonton has been lifted

A tornado warning issued for parts of Alberta just southwest of Edmonton, Wednesday evening, has been lifted
Environment Canada says Brazeau County, Cynthia, Lodgepole, Breton, Drayton Valley, and the surrounding area had been put under an alert as a nearby thunderstorm could change into a tornado.
This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Environment Canada has updated its Tornado Warning to a wider area.

This alert is in effect for Brazeau County, Cynthia, Lodgepole, Breton, Drayton Valley and surrounding area (See attached map for details).

As of 5:30 p.m., the thunderstorm in question was just north of Lodgepole and was moving northeast.
Additionally, Environment Canada says that strong winds and hail the size of tennis balls could occur.
At this time, it has not been confirmed if a tornado touched down in the area.
