Autopsy confirms fatal shooting in southeast Edmonton Wednesday morning

Edmonton police say an autopsy has been completed in connection to a shooting in southeast Edmonton Wednesday.
The Edmonton Police Service says around 12:38 a.m., officers responded to 16 Avenue and 65 Street.
Officers arrived on scene to find a 41-year-old man suffering from injuries. He was treated by paramedics, however, he was declared dead at the scene.
The Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office was able to identify the deceased as 40-year-old Inderpal Singh.
The autopsy also determined that the manner of death was a homicide, confirming that the cause of death was gunshot wounds.
