4 guns, 2,000 rounds of ammunition found west of Edmonton; 2 charged

Two people have been charged after four guns and 2,000 rounds of ammunition were allegedly stolen along with a vehicle west of Edmonton.
RCMP say a vehicle was reported stolen on May 19 in Spruce Grove.
On May 29, Parkland RCMP General Investigation Section, with the assistance of the Edmonton Police Service Tactical Section, executed a search warrant in Edmonton and arrested a suspect. Days later , a second suspect was also arrested by Edmonton police.
Carmela Reid, 46, and Robert Michael Hill, 35, have been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property over $5,000, among several other charges.
Reid is scheduled to appear in court July 29 in Stony Plain. Hill’s next court appearance is pending.
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
