Superstitious Feeling: Oilers fans looking to manifest playoff success

The Oilers are steamrolling past their playoff opponents. Winning four straight against L.A. and currently one win away against the Vegas Golden Knights from going to round 3.
There’s always passion among oil country. But there’s always some fans who love to believe their actions will help the team win again.
Maybe it’s dressing up in all silver like the beloved Mama Stanley, going to every watch party because the Oilers have won every time you’re there, or going through a game-day routine before puck drop.
But sometimes, a superstition comes out of chance.
Lauren Hunter is the afternoon host on Sonic 102.9, owned by Rogers Media, the same owners of CityNews.
She made a skate costume, and realized every time she’s worn it, the Oilers win!
“I’ve taken the costume to work, so I’ve worn it on air here at Sonic. I’ve worn it in my own house, literally watching games in the living room,” Hunter explained.
Game 5 is Wednesday in Vegas, so there’s still time to invoke some witchcraft of your own and manifest an Oilers conference final appearance.
