Police seek witnesses to serious motorcycle crash in Edmonton

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for witnesses or dash cam footage of a serious motorcycle collision that occurred on May 1, 2025.

Around 4:30 p.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of Sherwood Park Freeway and Argyll Road.

Investigators say a 52-year-old man was riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Argyll Road when he lost control, mounted the curb, and slid down a grassy hill into westbound traffic. The motorcycle collided head-on with a 2013 Toyota Corolla.

Emergency Medical Services treated the motorcyclist at the scene before transporting him to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in stable condition.

The driver of the Corolla was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
