Alberta RCMP are turning to the public in an effort to locate a vehicle believed to have been used during a shooting incident Thursday morning.

Mounties from Leduc responded to a report of shots fired at a home in the Royal Oaks subdivision of Leduc County around 5:20 a.m. on May 1.

Through the initial stages of the investigation, it is believed that around 5 a.m., two men fired a gun towards a home before fleeing the scene on foot. It is believed that the homeowner did not know either of the men.

The RCMP also believes a yellow 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express, also known as a Stinger or Rumblebee edition, is believed to be linked to the incident; however, it has gone missing.

It has been noted that the truck is missing part of its front bumper on the passenger side, roughly where the fog light would be.

RCMP is asking if anyone has seen the truck or has any information regarding those involved in the shooting to contact investigators at 310-7267 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
